(1)Design
o Product Design:According to customer requirements or market research, a 3D model of the target injection-molded product is designed, and its shape, size, structure and other details are determined. At the same time, factors such as the product's function, appearance, and assembly requirements are considered.
o Mold Design:Based on the product design, an injection mold that matches it is designed. Mold design needs to consider factors such as the parting surface, gate location, cooling system, and ejection mechanism to ensure that the plastic can evenly fill the mold cavity during the injection molding process, and the product can be demolded smoothly.
(2)Part Processing
o Metal Part Processing:Key components of the injection molding machine, such as the machine body, mold plates, screws, and barrels, are usually made of metal materials. Through processes such as casting, forging, and machining, the metal materials are processed into the required shapes and sizes. For example, the machine body and mold plates may be numerically controlled after casting blanks to ensure their precision and surface quality; screws and barrels require high-precision turning, grinding and other processing to ensure their matching precision and surface roughness.
o Manufacturing or Procurement of Electrical and Hydraulic Components:The control system and hydraulic system of the injection molding machine require various electrical and hydraulic components. Some of these components are manufactured by us while others are purchased from well-known brand products to ensure quality and performance. For example, electrical components such as controllers, motors, and sensors are usually purchased from professional electronic equipment manufacturers, while hydraulic pumps, cylinders, valves and other hydraulic components are customized or purchased according to the specifications and performance requirements of the injection molding machine.
(3)Assembly
o Component Assembly:The processed metal parts and the purchased electrical and hydraulic components are assembled to form various components of the injection molding machine. For example, the screw and barrel are assembled together to form the injection unit, the machine body, mold plates, and tie rods are assembled together to form the clamping unit, and the various components of the hydraulic system are installed on the oil tank and frame to form the hydraulic power unit. During the assembly process, it is necessary to operate strictly in accordance with the assembly process requirements to ensure the installation accuracy and connection reliability of each component.
o Overall Assembly:The various components are assembled as a whole to form a complete injection molding machine. During the overall assembly process, electrical wiring, hydraulic pipeline connection, lubrication system installation and other work need to be carried out, and each system is debugged and calibrated to ensure that all performance indicators of the injection molding machine meet the design requirements.
(4)Debugging and Inspection
o Debugging:After the injection molding machine is assembled, it needs to be comprehensively debugged. The debugging content includes electrical system debugging, hydraulic system debugging, clamping system debugging, injection system debugging, etc. Through debugging, the parameters of each system are adjusted to make it reach the best working state. For example, adjust the pressure and flow of the hydraulic system, adjust the speed, pressure and stroke of the clamping mechanism, and adjust the rotation speed and back pressure of the injection screw.
o Inspection:Various inspection equipment and methods are used to inspect the injection molding machine to verify its performance and quality. Common inspection items include precision inspection (such as mold plate parallelism, screw coaxiality, etc.), performance testing (such as injection pressure, injection speed, clamping force, etc.), and safety performance inspection (such as safety door protection device, emergency stop button, etc.). Only an injection molding machine that has passed strict inspection and all indicators meet the standards can be delivered for use after leaving the factory.
(5)Surface Treatment and Painting
o Surface Treatment:In order to improve the corrosion resistance, wear resistance and appearance quality of the injection molding machine, its exposed surfaces are usually surface treated. Common surface treatment methods include electroplating, spraying, oxidation, etc. For example, some components with high decorative requirements can be electroplated to give their surfaces a metallic luster; large components such as the machine body and mold plates can be protected by spraying anti-corrosion paint.
o Painting:On the basis of surface treatment, the injection molding machine is painted to give it an attractive appearance. The painting process includes primer spraying, topcoat spraying and other processes, and the appropriate color and paint are selected according to customer requirements or market positioning. Painting can not only beautify the appearance of the injection molding machine, but also further improve its corrosion resistance and weather resistance.
